A vacation log cabin with ocean views in Lubec, Maine. This is a perfect rural / oceanside vacation spot! 

Vacation Rental Description

Family log cabin, centrally heated, situated in downeast Maine, in Lubec, the easternmost town in the continental U.S.A. 

The cabin sleeps 4. Two spacious open sleeping lofts, safely railed, contain a half-bath and a king-size bed
in one loft, and two single beds in the other. All beds have comfortable mattresses.
 
On the first floor, is the fully-equipped kitchen, dining area for 4, a full-size bath and a comfortably furnished living room. 
 
The cabin is within sight and sound of the ocean with views from the lofts of the Lubec Channel, Campobello Island, Carrying Place Cove, Grand Manan Island and Grand Manan Channel. 
 
The cabin has a phone for local and long distance calls, (using your telephone credit card); DishNetwork TV; DVD/VCR player for your favorite movies; family games; and books, and puzzles for your indoor entertainment.
 
The kitchen is fully equipped and there is an outdoor gas grill on the deck for your cooking convenience. Groceries are available only 4 miles away at the local market, and fresh fish, clams, lobsters and scallops are available in season. Lobster steamer provided.
 
On a warm sunny day, as you enjoy a cook-out on the deck, spot birds at the feeders or nesting boxes, and listen to the ebb and flow of the tide in nearby Carrying Place Cove.

The cabin is within a quarter mile of the rugged Coastal Trail in the 481-acre Quoddy Head State Park and 2 miles from the West Quoddy Head Lighthouse. 

The toll-free bridge to Campobello Island, New Brunswick, Canada, where the Roosevelt Summer Cottage is located, is only a 10 minute drive away - just beyond the bank, post office, grocery shops and restaurants.
